Welcome to Know Thyself — a lab environment for philosophical self-inquiry. This is an engine that assists you philosophically, drawing on a lifetime of original work in depth psychology and contemplative practice to pose better questions rather than deliver answers. It is connected to a series of self-assessments that map traits and tendencies, and to a curated knowledge library built from decades of philosophical and psychological scholarship. None of this is clinical or diagnostic. Your results are kept confidential and stored under a participant code rather than your name or email, making them pseudonymous, not anonymous. Taking part in research is a separate, optional choice you can make inside the app, and you can change it or delete your data at any time. If you ever feel distressed, please reach out to standard emergency or crisis support resources.
